Hi, I have some success running 3D Steam games in Parallels, and figured i'd try the latest Doom 2016 just released ...
Anyone have luck running DOOM 2016 under parallels?

    Here's what I see:

    - Click Play in Steam under Library / DOOM
    - Little window pops up saying: "Performing first time setup. Installing 1 of 3"
    - Little Window then goes away, never to be seen again.
    - "DOOM" title in the list of games in the Steam "Library" window changes to "DOOM - Running", then to "DOOM - Syncing", then back to "DOOM"
    - Then nothing...
    - no Error. No popup. Nothing.

    My system:
    - MacBookPro 15" 2015 with Intel Iris Pro and AMD Radeon R9 M370X, 16GB RAM, 2.5Ghz Intel i7, 8core
    - MacOSX El Capitan 10.11.4 (15E65)
    - Parallels Version 11.2.0 (32581) - also tried the older 11.1.3 (32521)
    - Windows 10 Pro (Configuration: 4 core CPU, 8GB RAM, 2GB video memory, DX10 graphics)

I was hoping at least for an error. Or maybe a 640x480 sized window running a crappy low-fidelity-graphics version of the game...
Really would rather avoid doing a bootcamp USB device just to run this game. :)

    Ideas?

    Hello KevinM11,
You could check the system requirement of the game application and make necessary changes to the Virtual Machine's configuration. You can access the configuration of the Virtual Machine here. Also you can refer to this article to set-up your Virtual Machine for 3D gaming.

Did you ever have any success running Doom 2016 with Parallels? I am interested in doing that... Would love to know what happened with your attempt.
