Hi, just bought a new Macbook pro with M4 & 48gb ram. Currently using my Macbook Pro i7 running Parallel 18.3.2 and have several windows*.pvm files (winXP, win7x32bit & 64bit - running legacy program.) Possible to run these in my new Mac M4 ? I tried with ver 20 but seem not possible. If not , any go-around ? I read the KB but seem not possible. Just need to confirm as I may want to return my new mac m4 . Thanks Lee !

Sorry to tell you this, but there is no work around. The virtual machines that run on Intel machines are simply not compatible with the chip architecture of the M series Macs.

On a more positive note, running windows programs under Parallels on M series machines is wonderful. If you have the time and can restore the software as 64 bit images in a new virtual machine you'll be very impressed,
