I purchased a technical support ($30) phone call. (I get a BSOD with my Toshiba notebook conversion--covered in other forum) I was hoping for some help as I have spent many hours in seeking a solution. I have called three times today. Each time I enter my incident number and then enter the queue. Each of the three times I started at #3 in the queue. After 15-20 minutes I work my way down to 1 only to be returned to #3 after 5 minutes or so of waiting as "next in line". The first call I spend 51 minutes on the phone 3-2-1-3-2-1-5! I hung up and went to lunch. I have tried two more times this evening only to experience the same "drop" from the queue. (30 minutes or so each time). Other than the the automated response, I have not received any responses from Parallels technical support. Is this just a holiday issue? Does tech support really exist? Do they have a working phone system? Any positive feedback/encouragement would brighten my otherwise poor experience, Thanks
Just when you thought you needed to leave the beach Well, as a consultant to a local nursery that is looking at Parallels, I just received a phone call from tech support asking me if we had any issues. So, Tech Support is alive and well, just undermanned (or womanned as the case may be). He assured me that someone would answer the phone if I ventured to call again. I will try again this evening an post a follow-up. Since no one (Parallels-wise) has posted a response, I see that they are at least not currently reading/responding to posts. Lonely in the South
Hello SCUser, Parallels Team is awfully sorry for the phone-support was not sometimes available on holidays. We are ready to help you either by e-mail or forum or phone. Wish you a very Happy New Year in the South and wherever you go. Best regards, Xenos
