Hello everyone, I am intending to use my new M1 Macbook to do work in Power BI, however, after a successful installation of Parallels, I am unable to access some of the Clickhouse databases through an ODBC-connection and I am getting continuously an "193-error" and both on the 32-bit and 64-bit version of ODBC data sources. I have read through similar posts on the forum, but I have still not fully understood if there does not exist any current workaround for this issue. https://forum.parallels.com/threads/postgresql-odbc-driver-unicode-64-bit.356444/ https://forum.parallels.com/threads/mysql-connector-odbc-for-win-11-arm.356741/#post-908639 I have bought my Mac specifically for work, and this is a blocker for me, as I would have to continue using my older Windows device daily if this does not work..
I was having this problem on my Win 11 64 ARM VM when trying to set up a Snowflake driver. I noticed that the links in the Start Menu for 32 and 64 both point to the same, wrong executable for the ODBC Administrator console. Windows version build fail, perhaps. The right one is C:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe . When I ran that I was able to set up my driver and use it properly. Even though this is the expected path for the 64 bit console, it reports itself to be for 32 and I think it uses 32 bit drivers. You might want to try installing both versions of you driver.
Checking again just now, I see that in fact this is the 32 bit interface (WOW64 = Windows 32 Bit on 64 Architecture), so you will indeed need the 32 bit driver.
