    Hello,

The F15 key of my "Apple Magic Keyboard with NumPad" is not recognized on a Windows VM or Ubuntu VM while it is recognized on my macOS host or a macOS VM. Here is a video to demonstrate this: https://youtube.com/shorts/DVLTFAviSG4

    # My host
Mac M1 Max with macOS 13.6 or 14.0.
Parallels Desktop Pro Edition 18.3.0 to 19.0.0
Apple Magic Keyboard with NumPad 2021 US QWERTY layout https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MK2C3LL/A/

    # VM guests that recognize the F15 key
    macOS 13.6
    macOS 14.0

    # VM guests that don't recognize the F15 key
    Windows 11 Pro 22H2 ARM64.
    Unbuntu 22.04.3 LTS ARM64.

    # Example of Windows 11 VM behavior
    Browse to https://hwtests.com/keyboard-test-for-windows
F12 works [need to push Fn+F12 to activate]
    F13 works [recognized as PrintScreen].
    F14 works [recognized as ScrollLock].
F15 doesn't work [should be recognized as PauseBreak]
    F16 works

    # Example macOS 14 VM behavior
    Browse to https://hwtests.com/keyboard-test-for-mac
F12 works [need to push Fn+F12 to activate]
    F13 works
    F14 works
    F15 works
    F16 works

    I appreciate your help.

    Hello,

Report ID 439357165 macOS VM: F15 key works fine.
Report ID 439357712 Windows VM: F15 key not recognized (no F15 nor Pause/Break).

    Please note:

if you virtually plug an Apple Magic Keyboard with Numpad into the Windows VM, and you press F15 then you obtain F15. This behavior is normal, like if you plug this Apple keyboard into a real Windows PC.

If you virtually plug a Corsair K60 Keyboard into the Windows VM, and you press F15, then you obtain Pause/Break. This behavior is normal, like if you plug this Corsair keyboard into a real Windows PC.

You can see the attached photos.

The persisting issue is: if you use an Apple Magic Keyboard with Numpad only plugged into your Mac host, and you press F15 then nothing is received by the Windows VM.

Is any member in this community would be able to try pushing F15 on his own Parallels Desktop? The website on Windows VM to receive keystrokes is https://hwtests.com/keyboard-test-for-windows

    Thank you.

I just updated to Parallels Desktop 19.1 and the issue is the same on Windows VM.

    # Example of Windows 11 VM behavior
    Browse to https://hwtests.com/keyboard-test-for-windows
F12 works [need to push Fn+F12 to activate]
    F13 works [recognized as PrintScreen].
    F14 works [recognized as ScrollLock].
F15 doesn't work [should be recognized as PauseBreak]
    F16 works

It's even worse on macOS 13 or 14 VM because now F14 and F15 are not recognized on macOS VM anymore:

    # Example macOS 14 VM behavior
    Browse to https://hwtests.com/keyboard-test-for-mac
F12 works [need to push Fn+F12 to activate]
    F13 works
F14 has not been recognized since Parallels Desktop 19.1
F15 has not been recognized since Parallels Desktop 19.1

    F16 works

I have the exact same problem. This has been posted many times. Has anyone found a fix?
I just changed from a MacBookPro16 intel to a M3Max. Everything worked on the Intel machine.

Thank you for your comment, you're the first user after me to comment publicly about this basic issue. This problem is so easy to reproduce, I already opened an official ticket 2 years ago, but they never took care about this issue. I even offered them to send them an Apple Magic Keyboard with Numpad directly to their office, but they just replied : "it's forbidden for us to receive hardware from unknown source". It's a SHAME for a so serious company as Parallels is
