    Hey!
I have some questions I have difficulty finding on the internet.

    Context
    1. I have an external SSD (2TB)
    2. My Virtual machine installed on this drive
    Question
    1. Why "C://Program Files" still use my internal hard drive? Is it possible to change this, install all apps and games, and store files on this external drive?
    2. Somehow this external drive is recognized in Windows as a "Network drive." Is it possible to change this? This article does not help. I get an error: "The disk "PSSD T7 Shield" cannot be connected because another application is using it. Please quit this application and connect "PSSD T7 Shield" again."

    Hi George,

    Please perform the following actions.

    1. Start Parallels Desktop.
    2. Shut down the Virtual Machine. Make sure that the virtual machine is shut down. If it is in a suspended state, please run it and then shut it down (Actions > Shut Down).
    3. Click on the Parallels icon in the Mac menu bar > Control Center > Right-click on the virtual machine > Configure.
    4. Click Options and select Sharing.
    5. Uncheck "Mirror Mac and Windows user folders".
    6. Start the Windows Virtual machine.
    See if the issue persists.

    Hi Adeboye,

Unfortunately, this does not help. Windows itself still recognizes my external drive (on which I have installed Windows) as a network drive.
