    Hi,

I've installed Parallels Desktop for Mac 3.0 build 5882. After installing Windows XP and Parallels Tools, I'm able to ping, open connections from my Guest OS to my Mac, but if I try to ping my Guest OS (or connect to some TCP port) it doesn't work.

I'm using Host-only network, but I've also tried with Shared Network. I've read the FAQ and searched through the KB, but I haven't found any useful information. I've dropped all ipfw rules and Parallels configures the routing normally.

I've noticed that I cannot access the Windows Firewall settings, it says there are some issues with WMI that requires a system restore. Is it something related to Parallels Network Adapter?

One more thing, I've installed WinDump (tcpdump for Windows :p), I can see the packets coming from the Parallels Network Card, but Windows doesn't even send a response. The same happens with a ping request. I can ping and access services from my Mac on Windows (both with Host-only and Shared Network).

    Cheers,
    Josias
