    USB Serial adaptor + Leopard + 5570 + Sleep = Problem

I have a Belkin USB serial adaptor (F5U409-CU) that doesn't work in the VM after I wake up my Mac Pro after its been in Sleep mode for a while.

    Workaround:
I have to go to Devices/USB and un-check it and then re-check it and wait a bit and then it works again.

I never had this problem with Parallels 2.5 in Tiger. I noticed then that when I woke up from sleep in Tiger + 2.5 it made the Windows unplug and plugin usb devices sounds and then it worked.

This problem was also present in 5540 beta.

moviewavs, thank you very much for the information.
We are aware of the issues with a number of devices not working in beta builds and collecting all the reports.
Parallels team will try to fix them in the release coming soon.

    Best regards,
