Hi This latest upgrade was supposed to have fixed the issue of menus not displaying the actual text on drop down when in Coherence mode. It hasnt! I have upgraded, reinstalled the tools, rebooted... and still I get the same issue in coherence mode. I'm on a Mac Studio ARM with Sonoma. I have already sent 2 emails to support about this, and no one has responded to me at all. Has anyone got a resolution to this? Thanks
Hello @DavidB142 , Thanks for bringing it up! I've just moved your ticket directly to the Second Line support queue. Please expect an email from our engineers shortly.
I am having this exact same issue. Can someone assist me with resolving this, too? I have done all the same things (upgraded, reinstalled tools, rebooted, etc.) and menus do not display text (except for a brief millisecond) on drop down (e.g., name matching in Outlook).
hello @SheldonW , would you send a screenshot of the issue, please? Additionally, collect a technical report while the issue is being reproduced (click Parallels icon > Help > Send technical data > check "Attach screenshots..." > press Send Report) and send the report's 9-digit ID in your reply to this post.
I would love to send a screenshot but it would be of no use. I'll do my best to explain what is happening and use Outlook for my example because this is when I noticed it first. When not in coherence mode with Outlook running, if I create a new message (or reply or whatever) and place my cursor in the To: field (or Cc: field, doesn't matter which), the second I type the first letter of the recipient's name, Outlook will normally display a few email addresses that begin with the letter I just typed. However, when using coherence mode, when I put the cursor in the To: field the list of email addresses that match the character I just typed will flash quickly and disappear. I wouldn't know how to screen shot this behavior when there is nothing on the screen to see other than what appears for a split second then disappears.
I just submitted a technical report with one attachment (Word doc) that contains a link to a short video that you can download to view this behavior.
