Just installed 5582 on my MacBookPro (running Tiger, will upgrade now that I have the mew release). Just wanted to let you know that my Windows XP virtual machine reports a usage of 16 million TB of real memory in the Activity Monitor system utility (and 3Gb of virtual memory). Not a serious issue but you may want to fix it if experience by other users.

WOAH! Now that's bizzare, you've got the world's most powerful computer there...
Do you have multiple Windows installs? If so, do they all show the same thing? I've never seen this bug before.

Attached a screenshot of my 16 million TB of memory :)
    ...and it's not even swapping
I have a couple of other XP and Vista installs, will try it out asap and let you know if they report the same usage.

I would also recommend re-installing Parallels.

Yet, if it were my personal machine, I probably would leave it be for the cool factor.

Actually after some investigation this is a glitch in Parallels 5582. If anyone selects Parallels in Activity Monitor then selects --> Inspect --> Memory you will infact see Shared Memory Size show 16 million TB +- for a brief second. I had to do a double take but it did definately do it.

    Hello,

the issue is actually a minor glitch of the software and as you've probably seen doesn't affect the performance :)
We've notified our developers and we will try to avoid such issue in our future versions. Thank you for the information!

    Best regards,
    Alicia.
