Update XP-Vista does not work!

Hello,

I use a (new) MacbookPro 17 inch with Parrallels with an installed version of Windows XP.
I bought the UPGRADE version of vista, but the system won't update and gives the following message.

This computer is not compliant with the Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) standard. Windows must be installed onto a computer that supports ACPI. Contact your computer manufacturer for a BIOS update or install Windows on an ACPI-compliant computer. \

Seems to be a very strange message.

Can anyone help me out?

Open parallels and go to "actions" on top off your desktop and choose "prepare windows vista upgrade"
