I honestly feel like I am going crazy. Ever since I updated to Parallels 19, I've been plagued with issue after issue and now I'm officially at the point that it is completely unusable. I've deleted and recreated my Ubuntu 20.04 and Ubuntu 22.04 VMs from complete scratch, but they end up laggy and freezing my whole Mac when attempting any sort of somewhat intensive task despite the fact that I follow the recommended resource allocations. My USB devices aren't binding to the appropriate drivers in Linux anymore (I've tried it with both USB 3.1 enabled and disabled, as well as switching hypervisors). I've done so many clean installs within the Linux environment at this point that the issue has to be Parallels itself at this point. I honestly don't know what to do aside from revert back to version 18, but I'm guessing that means nuking all of my VMs since they've all at been booted at least once since I updated to Parallels 19 (I have several VMs, each installed on their own external SSD because I frequently end up needing to use various versions of Windows and Ubuntu for different projects).

So I'm posting here just to make sure there isn't anything else I can do before giving up and going back to Parallels 18. Would it even be worth trying to reinstall Parallels 19 itself? Is there some setting I just haven't found yet that's of particular interest to Ubuntu 20 and 22 VMs? I've dug through the forum and can't see to find much so I'm just at a loss.

I'm running on a 2019 Intel based MacBook Pro with Ventura currently, but everything was fine on Ventura with Parallels 18 and every Mac OS version before. Everything went south on me when I made the mistake of saying yes to the update to version 19 when it popped up. I do pay for the Pro version so that I can utilize 32GB of the 64GB in my Mac.

The same issues coming after the update of the system. I faced this issues from the version 18 and 19 just for Ubuntu.

I just dont understand why Parallels has not addressed the issues, why they're not offering to extend license periods, etc.
