Currently discussing Parallels as a possible solution and came to a question - Per the windows RDS environment (applications published via work resources) when a user launches a remote application a session is created to the server, 1 session per application. Does Parallels open a single session through which multiple applications could be ran simultaneously? Or does it also need to open a session per application? I appreciate your time. Thank you.
Right now I'm testing Parallels as solution and gave it a quick test with just one worker in my deployment. Result: It's only one session.
Hi @AustinC5 Parallels open a single session thru which multiple applications can be run simultaneously from a specific server
When using an RDSH resource application can shared the same server session. This happens if the server providing the first application can also provide the second, third application, and so on. This is known as session sharing. You can also force session isolated, where each application will run in its own session.
