    Hi,

I've got some new Windows software that I want to try out, and am therefore about to use the Snapshot feature for the first time. I created a baseline snapshot a while ago, and did just add a second one. But before I went about and installed my new software, for some reason I decided to check the file sizes for the snapshots.

And that check made me uncertain wether the snapshots are created successfully or not.

In Parallels/<VM>/Snapshots, I've got two files, both with the ending .pvc and both just 4 kB large. 4 kB doesn't seem like a lot when the file is supposed to store differences for a whole harddrive. Also, in the help, it says that the differences should be stored in .hdd files. But I can't find any.

    Is my snapshots alright?
If not, what has gone wrong?

    Best regards,
    Anders Thoresson

    Hello,

to see the created Snapshots you should go to Macintosh HD -> Users -> "Your user name (The house" icon) ->Documents (Library) -> Parallels) and open the Virtual Machine Name folder. Right-click (CTRL+click for Mac mouse or SHIFT+CTRL+click for Mac mouse) on the .hdd file and select "Show Package Contents".

    Best regards,
    Stacey
