Greetings, I have a Windows virtual image running in Parallels that displays the message of 'Sign Out of Windows to apply new mirroring settings' when logging into Windows. No matter how many times I "Sign out now", the message always comes back. It doesn't really do anything to effect the performance of Windows. But, it is annoying. Details on the environment: Parallels Desktop 18.3.2 (53621) is installed on a MacBook Pro (16-inch, M2 Pro, 2023) running MacOS 13.5. Parallels Toolbox 6.5.0 is installed. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit (Creators 22H2) is installed on the Parallel virtual image. The virtual Windows image is bound to an Active Directory domain. I tried removing Parallels tools. But, that cause problems with the display; we can no longer change the resolution. How do I make the 'Sign Out of Windows to apply new mirroring settings' message go away? Thank you, Denis
Greetings, Thank you for posting on Parallels Forum. Thank you Aydaskhan. I have just submitted Technical report 432701897. I look forward to a follow up from the Parallels Team. Denis
Hello Denis. To try to resolve your issue, please perform the following steps: Take snapshot of your virtual machine by going to Mac menu bar > Actions > Take Snapshot... Go to C:\Program Files\Parallels\Parallels Tools\Plugins and locate SharedProfile.dll file. Create a new folder inside of Plugins folder and move SharedProfile.dll file to it. Note: If a deny error message appears, end prl_cc.exe process in Task Manager (right-click on Task Bar > Task Manager). If you are still not able to delete the file, please proceed with the instructions below. Press OK on the pop up message to relogin. If the issue persists, please collect an additional technical report (click Parallels icon > Help > Send technical data > check "Attach screenshots..." > press Send Report), copy the report's 9-digit ID and provide it in reply message. And should anything go amiss, simply revert to the snapshot created in step 1, after report collection.
