Sony Reader / USB Controller driver problem with Windows XP

Hello,

I am trying to use the Sony Reader with Windows XP under parallels. It is not showing up because the USB Controller under Device Manager can't find the right driver.

I have tried uninstalling the USB controller and rebooting. I have tried uninstalling, removing the USB Controller from the Parallels Configuration Editor, restarting Windows, shutting down, then adding the USB Controller back in (with Connect to Guest OS) and that hasn't worked either.

My Windows 2000 installation has no problems seeing attached USB devices, but the Windows XP installation doesn't recognize any.

I have updated to the latest version of Parallels and reinstalled Parallels Tools.

Please help!

 

Just to add - I am on a Macbook Pro running Leopard, Windows XP build 2600.
