Web server on Linux - how to hit it from OSX?

I installed Linux on Parallels (CentOS 5.1) along with JBoss app server. From the Mac side, how do I hit the web server? I tried using the IP address from ifconfig (ran from Linux) with no luck. I also tried the host alias with no luck.

It was a firewall issue in Linux.

 

It appears that the parallels network controller and NAT daemon doesn't support "redirect", which would route packets back to the guest OS. this has not been fixed, AFAIK.
