I've put Parallels on ~7 Macs so far, from v2 b 1954 or thereabouts to current v3 b5582 and I just noticed this today for first time...

Only (so far) on an old Mac Mini CD 1.66Ghz running 10.4.11 w v3 b5582 ...

When I pull up the "About Parallels Desktop" it plays some funky recording, sounds like an old man saying something like (can't understand the 1st part, guessing) "If you feel like you are running in place you must run twice as fast to get somewhere else".

    Does not do it on a MBP C2D 2.33Ghz w/10.5.1 /v3 b5582 nor on an iMac C2D 2Ghz w/10.4.11 / v3 b5160...
Does not do it on "About this Mac" or "About 'other apps' " on the Mini ...

Freaked me out the 1st time 'cause I was working on 3 machines, bouncing around and didn't realize exactly what caused it at 1st.

Anybody else heard anything like this or am I really losing it (no, just had HR person listen to it too, it was her old Mac)? Man, this has been a long, crazy week.

That's it. Figured it was an egg. Can reproduce with Command key held down on the MBP, comes thru nice and clear. I was working on the Mini thru ARD Admin, seems in that case you don't have to hold down the key, did it many times with direct mouse while ARD was still connected. Will try it Monday without ARD connected.

Nice quote from the programmers, we can all relate.
