I just bought a new mac with the M2 chip and installed paralells since the new ARM chips do not support bootcamp. While using my Mac--and not Paralells/Windows--a notification on my Mac popped up that an external url at tranferwise was trying to initiate the Clean Drive application. Of course I'm very concerned about this--I didn't even know external calls could do that, and as far as I know transferwise has been changed to simply wise.
Greetings MarcF7, Thank you for posting on Parallels Forum. To let us better understand the issue, kindly reproduce the issue and collect a technical report as per this article: https://kb.parallels.com/en/124107 In the description of the technical report, attach screenshots of notifications that you having and error messages (if any). Then copy 9-digit ID of the report and send it in a reply message. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
I have not been able to replicate the notification and have seen no further incidence of it happening. What happened was during the install of parallels there was a question about allowing notifications on my Mac--which I clicked "yes" to. When I rebooted my Mac after install; that's when the notification message came up that an external device at a url at transferwise was trying to initiate the clean drive application. I didn't even know what it was until I found it under the parallels utilities. Please understand that I think parallels is an excellent product and I'm not suggesting it's unsafe; but I thought the message was so unusual I should let you know.
