Could someone please clarify for me whether or not it is possible to take an existing Windows 10 system running under Parallels on an Intel Mac and run it under Parallels (latest version) on an M2 Mac? I keep seeing conflicting webpages and posts about this. If it is possible, what performance can be expected relative to a 4GHz iMac?

Windows VMs designed for Intel-based Macs are not compatible with the M-Edition based Macs, and they never will be.

"never will be"? All one needs is an emulator (which alrady exists for Intel apps though not OSes) in the for of Rosetta. There may bnto be enough demand for an Intel Emulator but it is suraly doable (wuth some scarifce in performance perhaps). It may not be good enough on an M2 but "never". I wouldn't be so sure.
