Right off the bat I'll admit my ignorance and throw myself on the mercy of the community. I have a MacPro running Leopard. I've just purchased Parallels for Mac Supreme. I'm trying to set up my virtual desktop. I have Microsoft Office 2007 via download. I have my download key. I do not have a disc. I do not understand ISO image. What am I missing?

You need a programm like poweriso to open you .ISO

This programm will mount a virtual disc to install office.

    Greetings

Maybe I'm asking the wrong question...

I am trying to set up a Windows VM on a MacPro running Leopard. I have a license key for Microsoft Word 2007. I was assuming that is all I need to install. After further reading, it sounds like I need to install Windows first, correct?

Yes, you must have Windows installed in Parallels first. Then install Office into Windows.
