Hello! I'd like to install an OSX virtual machine on a USB, but unfortunately when I move to a USB the file automatically created by parallels (ext. .macvm) and I try to run it the error Cannot retrieve the hardware model data parallels appears, and it closes. Is it maybe related to the strange .macvm extension? Thanks, Vincenzo.
EDIT: I'm trying to use the VM on the same computer which created it, but stored on a USB pen. No problems with a distrolinux VM, whose extension is .pvm
Were you able to solve this? Experiencing the same issue trying to transfer a `.macvm` vm to a new instance. It works on one but not the other after trasnferring.
