Hello there, since Adobe CS6 for Mac can no longer be used or installed on Mac OS 10.15 (and later), I´m wondering if it´s possible to run CS6 for Windows on a Mac with Parallels. From my own experience I know CS6 still runs well under a native Windows 10 or even 11 machine, but would this work on recent Macs with a Parallels set up? I´m using Photoshop and Illustrator professionally and don´t want to be sucked into Adobe´s Creative Cloud, but would like to be able to still use Macs. Any feedback is much appreciated!
Hello, You can download a Parallels Desktop trial using this link: https://www.parallels.com/pd/genera...V_JmDuKY5XcDCmIpP68yg0VC2X_CyyGYaAupFEALw_wcB and test if the application is working inside Parallels Desktop. Thanks.
Hi, Adobe Creative Cloud is not yet supported on ARM Windows. Please refer to this link to check Adobe Software supported on ARM based Windows https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/arm-processors.html However, if you're running a Mac with Intel chip you can very well use Adobe Creative Cloud on Windows 11 or Windows 10 with Parallels Desktop for Mac.
I am actively running Windows version of Adobe CS6 on Parallels on my M3 Macbook Pro. I wish I had seen your post sooner. It works very well. The only thing is that my GPU is not recognized by AE and Premiere, so render times are long. There is an editable GPU list, and I am thinking about running GPU sniffer on it to find out which GPU my Mac has. That makes it easily available, but I only thought of it today.
