Parallels 16 had been running fine on Mojave. I just upgraded to Catalina 10.15.7 and when I start Parallels I get stuck at a popup window saying "Parallels Desktop Starting." I checked settings for Accessibility under Privacy & Security preference, and my Firewall setting is off.

I checked the console for error messages related to Parallels and have copied a few of the first messages:

Any thoughts on what the problem might be? Thanks.

I was able to get Parallels 16 to start properly after finding a help page - https://kb.parallels.com/124001
The trick was to use the Terminal to execute the following command - sudo kextcache --clear-staging
Executing this command brought up a window that allowed me to give the correct permissions to the Parallels app. I thought I had done this properly previously, but using this process got things working.
