    hello,
can i open a mac app by clicking on a link in a file that is open in a windows program?

example: in my outlook for windows there are links to onenote within some objects (in my tasks an in my calendars). before these links (on my windows pc) opened a note in onenote for windows. now i want to open the same note in onenote for mac with this link. but this doesn't work. although i entered onenote for mac as the default app for onenote and onenote-cmd in the windows settings.

    who can help me?

Hello @HC_3 , this is not possible , by click same link , please copy that file to Mac , then open that in Mac onenote . Thanks, Parallels Team.

the problem is that onenote does not access a file, but the onenote notebook in the cloud.

i have now done it in such a way that i have ALSO installed onenote for windows 10 (in the vm) and use it in parallel with onenote for mac. not ideal, but it doesn't seem to work any other way ...
