This cure has not worked for me. I need help. This is the 3rd time I have encountered a corrupted .hdd file: twice in Tiger and now once in Panther. I have lost a great deal of data and time because of these incidents.

I would have appreciated Parallels "clarification" that v3 is a beta and should not be used in a production environment or with important information BEFORE I installed it with Panther.

I have come to understand that Parallels Desktop for Mac is a novelty and not for serious work at all. It is far too unstable.

I do not wish to whine. However, I purchased my MacBook Pro and installed PD with WINXP so that I could have a reliable machine to run my business from and to order my life. However, I have met with one disappointment after another. Snapshots have done me no good either. PD does not work well with The Time Machine either. I am so frustrated.

    Hello,

actually, there was a notification about beta character - in this thread.
Can you manage to access your VM via .pvs file directly?

    Best regards,
    Alicia.

    Hello,

try to find .pvs file with a Spotlight and open it.

    Best regards,
    Alicia.
