When I leave Parallels and Windows open on my Mac Mini (Late 2020, Intel) for a few hours or overnight, I usually come back to a black screen. I can fix it through Actions/Reset, but this is a bit annoying. Is there a way to prevent the black screen? Is this like a screen saver/sleep function that I can turn off? Thanks.
Hello DavidJ51, Please refer to this KB article: https://kb.parallels.com/6571 to create a support ticket and reply with the ticket number. Thanks, McAllen.
I just upgraded to v17 (from v11) latest build, and have exactly this issue. I have a support ticket open against it - ticket # 3321275. However, the response has not solved the issue - all the suggestions have not been applicable/incorrect, and now there has not been any further response for days. I've sent in a technical report, with the initial ticket. Can someone from Parallels tell me what is going on? I'm using the Reset approach to workaround, but this causes all running programs to crash, and my main program - Quicken - grabs the CPU when it restarts, and I'm assuming it's doing a validation on the data file. I'm pretty upset - all was fine under v11, and now I've paid $50 for a worse experience - $50 to downgrade!
