Word opens WinXP automatically, how do I configure that?

    Hi,

    every now and then certain Office documents such as word automatically try to open on XP through Parallels. I didn't ask for it, I use NeoOffice for these files, but for some reason it insists to open on XP. I would love to get a tip on disabling that option.

    Hi,

    To fix the problem please do the following:

    1. Point your Office document, select it in Finder and press Command+I (Get Info)
    2. In the Get Info dialog in the Open With menu select your NeoOffice application.
    3. Click Change All... button.

    Is there a way for me to disable the automatic opening in Parallels? it's just very annoying that I have to specifically tell every .doc file in my computer to not use this default.

    I did.
    The thing is, even if I say 'always open with' it still treats every .doc file as a special case. Can't I just overrid this option all together?
