I am a week away from the end of my current subscription to Parallels Desktop 16. If I renew my subscription from my account settings it's about $85-$90 renewal for another year. However, if I go to the front page where Parallels Desktop 17 is being advertised and I click on PURCHASE there is an upgrade to the newest version option for only $50 a year. So, which do I use? Of course, I'd rather pay $50 to upgrade from 16 to 17 for the next year, but I am wondering why there is a more expensive option from my account settings.
