After switching from Intel based iMac to M1, i have issues using my Octopus Sat>IP server under Windows. With my old installation on the Intel based machine and Parallels Desktop i was able to use the program DVBViewer to record and watch TV via satellite with an OctopusNet Max Sat>IP Receiver/Server. With my new M1 MacBook i only get a blank screen (DVBViewer) or errors (VLC) while trying to access the stream output from the Sat>IP receiver. To access the server on the local network I am using "Bridged network" with "Default adapter". Does anybody has an idea? Is it an issue within Windows on ARM or is there a limitation with a new network implementation of Parallels Desktop? Many thanks in advance for every tip.
Another idea i had today was to check how VLC @ fedora Linux will be able to playback the m3u playlist. But this didn't work either. Configuration website for the octopus net is loading. I don't know how useful this information is, but another Sat>IP device (fritz.box cable router with DVB-C implementation) is working fine.
Today I connected an ethernet to USB adapter an suddenly reception of Octopus Sat>IP signals are working fine again.
