Running MacBook Pro with Tiger 10.4. I installed Parallels 3.0 for Mac and did the initial updates and everything was running perfectly. I have a Windows XP Pro Virtual Machine that was working up until the latest Parallels upgrade. Now when I try to launch the XP virtual machine I get "Parallels Desktop is unable to operate properly since it cannot communicate with one of its drivers. Seems that drivers are inconsistent with the currently installed version of Parallels Desktop. To overcome this issue, reinstall Parallels Desktop and start it by selecting Finder->Applications->Parallels->Parallels Desktop.
I thought this was just a problem with my install so I reinstalled and it worked fine again until the upgrade. What is changed or updated from the original install to the upgrade that would be causing this problem? Oh after a reboot, it works fine for one execution and then you have to reboot again and it might work.
