V16.1.1 hangs on 'starting'

    I upgraded to Big Sur and then installed the latest version of Parallels Desktop. However, whenever I open the app, it hangs with the rainbow beach ball like this.

    The message in Korean means 'starting'.

    did you try to uninstall your Parallels Desktop and install it once again?
