Just upgraded to Leopard and reinstalled my Parallels XP installation. I seem to be having a minor issue with the mouse when in full-screen mode. The mouse tends to pause intermittently. It's actually quite annoying. (I think it's giving me hand cramps. I'm moving the mouse, but the pointer on the screen isn't...) I didn't notice this when my Parallels was installed prior under Tiger on my MacBook. I'm running a MacPro Quad 2.0 machine with 3 GB RAM, so I think there's enough power to run the mouse. My 20" Dell monitor is at 1680x1020 resolution. I tried two different mice and both had the same issues. One was a Logitech USB and the other was an off-brand USB. It dosen't seem to happen to me when running in a window. I can't test it in coherence mode since that mode does not want to work for me in Leopard.
Mouse Issues When I use my mighty mouse in Parallels with Xp pro the mouse connectivity is lost. I have to close windows and then shut down my Macbook and then restart the Mac. In Tiger the problem never occurred. I use a Mac book 2.16 with 2 gig of ram.
Hi, Does this happens in any other application in fullscreen? Why you can't use Coherence in Leopard? Alexander
It doesn't seem to happen any other time. When I'm using Parallels in a window, the mouse control seems fine. And I don't know why coherence mode doesn't work; it just doesn't. I choose "Coherence..." in the View menu, and nothing happens. No error. No message. Just nothing. It worked well on the same machine running Tiger. Also, I get no shared discs from my Mac when in Parallels. I have a folder shared, and my Documents linked to My Documents in Windows, but neither show up. Oh, and the dynamic resizing of the Parallels window no longer resizes the Windows XP desktop within. Windows remains at whatever resolution it's set to.
The same problem here, just installed Leopard. can't move the mouse in fullscreen nor windowed screen... (running XP) I have an iMac 1.83 ghz core duo with 1 GB memory, but i'm sure thats not the problem. // edit After crashing my mac 3 times it suddenly works, but i can't tell what the problem or solution was..
