Noticed Parallels has become much slower, in fact downright sluggish in starting up the virtual machine on my Macbook Pro (16GB split 8GB OS 14, 8GB Windows 10). Used to be pretty quick (30 seconds or less) but now it can take 2-3 minutes. Running Ver. 16 Parallels. It eventually fires up, but something has gone wrong. If this persists, I'm an ex-user of the software.
My MacBook Pro (6 yrs old with best CPU available then) has the hardware, but I suspect the issue is with Windows 10. There seems to be alot of updating going on when starting up the VM as Win 10 loads. Also, iTunes always wants to do updates as Windows loads. These could be issues, along with my Webroot antivirus program. I'm going to try and disable these programs and see what happens. I also do not see where the CPU Usage monitor is in the toolbar.
