    Hi,
I use an iMac 2017 with a Samsung Portable SSD X5 over Thunderbolt 3, everything works fine.
Now I want to connect the SSD to a Windows 10 64 Bit virtual machine on Parallels Desktop 15 (Testversion) and formate the SSD with NTSC.
I could see the SSD in the Disk-Management but when I try to formate the disk I get an error message and the filesystem is after this try corrupt.
    Can anybody help?

Are you trying to format the drive to NTFS filesystem? Let us know the current filesystem of the external drive.

Yes, i want NTFS on the SSD.
I formated the SSD under OSX with nearly every combination. FAT with MBR should work. Everytime the same error.
