domain registration

I have been trying for about 3 hours now with different configurations of my ethernet settings to connect my PD to my domain at my office. I can get online without any problems... but as far as joining our domain im having serious problems. With PD 2. series I didnt have any problems... any recommendations as to correct configurations? I cant get my ethernet port to obtain an address from my router. It keeps showing up with a 10. network.

What can't get the IP address from the router?

 

setup description

my office is on a 192.168.5.x network. My mac network settings are in line with that network... but my PD network configuration keeps coming up with a 10. network.

my Parallels Guest network is grabbing a 10.37.129.2 address.
my Parallels NAT address is 10.211.55.2

using the shared network settings my network address jumps to 10.211.55.3 with a gateway of 10.211.55.1
using the host only setting I grab a 10.37.129.3 with a gateway of .1

whats going on here. Why cant I get to my lan router from my PD?
