Hello, could you please provide us with more information? What kind of update screen would you like to remove?

Oh gee, I don't know . . . how about the UPDATE nag screen. You know, the one that pops up 100 times a day reminding me like I have Alzheimer's disease that I need to update from 15.1.2 to the latest version. You're not my mommy and my daddy. I appreciate you letting me know ONCE that the update is available, but you are being abusive. How about you tell me how to turn this friggin update screen off or I will update . . . to VM ware.

I actually sent a message to your support about this and the response I received was: "Thank you for contacting Parallels Support. This email is with regards to the issue that you are getting frequent update pop up. We do apologize for the inconvenience that caused. We suggest you to install the most recent build of Parallels Desktop 15.1.4 to get rid of the pop up." What is wrong with you people?

So, are you going to turn off my nag screen?

I've done all of that except for clicking "don't show this again", which isn't actually available to click on. But, as you work for the company, you should know that. I believe that you've set your application up to periodically open a type of window that the system doesn't know is a pop up, so it can't stop it. I don't understand why you would suggest something that you know won't work. I just don't understand you people. Your suggestions don't make any sense.

So, a very interesting thing happened over the weekend. Your nag screen suddenly stopped appearing. I also received an email reply from Ekaterina Zelenskaya, your Operations Manager: "The behavior is not normal, please contact Technical Support with the technical report ID, collected next time you get the notification." I didn't have to contact them because YOU guys turned it off. So, it appears that your support team lied to me when they said you could do nothing about it. Good to know.
So, for anybody reading this: If you want to stop the Parallels nag screen, call them out on it publicly . . . and don't believe a word they say.

Dear @tmpc, we've checked your support ticket, and Parallels Support team suggested you the same steps.
May we ask you for some help? Once the issue with the update screen reoccurs please collect the tech report data right after that and reply us back here or by email with the tech report's ID number. We will be glad to help you to resolve this issue.
It's not a normal behavior and to be honest we didn't turn this update screen off from the Support side.
Thank you for sharing all of your results and for your time.

You must be kidding. I'm not spending anymore time on this nonsense. Of course you turned it off; I know I didn't. If you REALLY cared about this problem you wouldn't have removed the setting in your preferences window that allowed it to be turned off in previous versions, and your support wouldn't have replied with "We suggest you to install the most recent build of Parallels Desktop 15.1.4 to get rid of the pop up."
