I recently installed Parallels for Mac and then Windows XP Home Edition. I am now trying to install a copy of Office XP that my work administrator had given me. When I attempt to install, the reply is that the Product ID is invalid.

My work administrator indicated that she purchased Office XP with an open license which allows for installation at work and home. I have successfully loaded the Office XP copy on a pc at home.

Do I need to purchase new Office XP or Office 2007 software or is there another way of installing the copy of the Office XP disk?

    Hm...

That seems to be not so much a wish for a future feature of Parallels as a problem with a Microsoft licence key.

You ought to call Microsoft about that. It's not really a Parallels feature request.

Ditto. This isn't an issue for Parallels, talk with M$ or your sys admin.
