    Hello All,

I'm using the current build of Parallels, along with current versions of everything else on a 17" C2D MBP, and I'm having a trackpad problem in coherence mode. My trackpad works fine in window and full screen mode, but when I switch to coherence, the mouse acts as if another key is constantly being pressed. The cursor keeps snapping back to the middle of the screen after drawing outlines, as if the trackpad button is being held down. The mouse is useless and I can't get control back until I command-tab out of Parallels. As a result, I've stopped using Parallels for the time being and have moved Fusion in its place. I find Parallels to be the better product generally, but this mouse problem is forcing me to abandon Parallels until I discover a workaround or the problem is fixed in a future version. I appreciate in advance any good answers that the community may provide. Regards.

    Jim

    Same problem

i have the same problem. Any windows or menu bar that are loaded in XP's that the mouse touches causes it to jump back to the middle of the screen. Parallels otherwise works fine in windowed mode or full screen.

    Hello,

Please, reinstall the Parallels Tools. For this purpose do the following:
    1. Launch your Windows XP.
    2. Open Add/Remove programs control panel in Windows and remove Parallels Tools if present.
    3. Reboot Windows.
    4. Install Parallels Tools using "Install Parallels Tools .." menu item in the Action menu of the Parallels Desktop application.
    5. Reboot Windows.

    Best regards,
    Alicia.

The suggested remove/reinstall of Tools does not work

Under Coherence mode, the cursor still bounces back to the middle of the screen.
This makes Coherence annoying to use and is useless. No way but to use Fusion.
I have the latest Parallels for Mac 3.0 Build 5608
Mac platform is iMac Leopard 10.5.3
    VM is XP SP2

    Any suggestion ?

    John,

Video memory WAS set to 64M and the main memory 1024M

    iMac (with 4G memory)'s display resolution was set to 1680 x 1050

    Regards

    John,

Lowering the iMac display resolution makes no difference.
I have tried putting it down to 1024 x 768 and the cursor
if positioned near to the windows tool bar still bounces back to the
center like the mouse seeing the cat.

    regards
