I'm running parrallels on my mac and have windows 10 and windows xp works fine. I use Time Machine on mac to continuously back up to a separate hard drive. I had a print problem the other day when I jammed a label printer and disconnected the power cord for repair. I decided that the best way to go was to use the time machine to get it back as it was a few hours ago. Disaster!!!!!! I lost a month working on Windows 10 side (XP was not accessed for a while). I understand that Time Machine has taken a hard drive image every day, but that seems to be just the case for the Mac side and NOT the virtual Windows side. This took me 3 days and lacked confidence in what and was not backed up. Certainly this is a problem that was cut earlier! Or I'm totally missing something.
Unless you excluded it, the Windows drive should have been included. It is not though visible as a normal drive. It'll be a file called something like Windows.pvm (depending on what the machine is called). This 'contains' the virtual drives.
Hi @frough46f , please check for "pvm" file on the back up and check if you are able to find any files. That is your virtual machine.
