I have just downloaded a 14 day free trial of Parallel onto my Mac. When in Mac view the Parallel icon is in the doc. When I open Parallel it opens in full screen mode. How do I get from the Windows view into the Mac view also how do I implement the 'Coherence' feature. The help instructions do not help.

Click the Parallels icon. Select 'View'. Choose the view you want.

    Thank for responding.
When I click on the Parallel icon in my Mac dock it opens via Bootcamp. After a while I get a full screen view of the Windows desktop and no menu that shows View at the top. An added frustration is that I do not know how to get from Windows back to the Mac desktop without shutting down and restarting into the Mac desktop.
I want to be able to toggle between Windows and Mac.

It shouldn't be launching in bootcamp. The Parallels icon in the dock, should launch the virtual machine in the Mac. With this launched, the Mac toolbar at the top of the screen has the Parallels icon to change settings and the views.
Are you sure you have got a Parallels icon in your dock?. It sounds to me as if you have a bootcamp icon. This offers the option to automatically shutdown and launch the bootcamp Windows installation. Check in your applications for a Parallels Icon.
If you have go the Parallels icon, right click on this, 'Preferences', 'general'. There should be a button to "Show Parallels icon in menu bar". It is this icon in the manu bard you need to use to change the appearance of the virtual machine.

I alreadyhad a Windows OS on my Mac in Bootcamp. When I loaded Parallels it said it would install via Bootcamp.
Here is a screen shot of my Mac desktop. There is a Parallels icon in the Doc and also at the top in the Ma toolbar. If I click on Parallels in the Doc it will load Windows via Bootcamp. How do I stop that?
If I click the Parallel icon in the Mac tool bar I get a small menu with Control centre, Preferences, Buy Parallels, Help etc.

What makes you think it is launching 'via bootcamp'?.
It should be launching the bootcamp copy of Windows as a virtual machine.
With it launched inside the window, type Command Ctrl F (all at once). Your virtual Windows should switch to now being a window instead of full screen.
