Hello, I want to ask this before I do it. Can you install Boot Camp after Parallels has been installed on the machine? Thanks in advance RC
Stacey, Not really getting the answer to that question. Non geek terms will work better for me... like yes it will or no it wont. No pun intended. Thanks in advance RC
Well, I wanted to say that Parallels and Boot Camp are independent of each other, so I think there mustn't be any problems and you can install Boot Camp. Best regards, Stacey
Not to be a stickler, but correlating is not a geek term: http://dictionary.reference.com/search?r=2&q=correlating And noncorrelating is not correlating...
Easy killer..... Im sure the question I asked did not need your reply of correction.... go take a nap. RC
I asked the same question here very recently and got no replies ! Searching elsewhere has led me to the conclusion that you can indeed install Bootcamp after Parallels, but you have to then install Windows in Bootcamp from scratch. No way to use the existing Parallels hdd in Boot camp.
do remember Bootcamp is a beta which will expire either when Leopard is released or at the end of the year to Parallels Team is migration from Bootcamp to a Parallels hdd file practical? Hugh W
I think the original post was a question--How can I transfer my current Parallels VM to Boot Camp? And the answer to that is you can't.
