I know parallels is going to take a while to start up so I fire it up and get on with something else. Suddenly Parallels is in my face and what I've been typing is lost. I click on my work to raise it back to the top, start typing again and next thing Parallels has done it again.. and again... and again!
This is before any virtual machine has started. (Once they are running every windows app makes it worse but I concede that might not be Parallels' fault.)
Very irritating. Can it be fixed?
    Please help me TT^TT

Hi @Midori0, we apologize for any inconvenience this brings. We would suggest you following the steps mentioned below to fix the slow startup issue:

    * Inside the Windows press the Start button > Cogwheel Settings icon > System > Power and sleep > Additional power settings > Choose what power buttons do > Change settings that are currently unavailable > Turn on fast startup (recommended) > Uncheck > Save changes.

    * Installing Windows updates is relatively straightforward - as long as the Windows is intact (as even sfc /scannow wasn't finished - and this is the first diagnostic step to be taken - we wouldn't be able to confirm this). All you have to do to get rid of the pending updates is push your virtual machine into restarting.

Afterward, we'd recommend checking the virtual machine performance.
