    Hi Everyone,

I was rushing to get to a meeting this morning and tried to Shut Down Windows before it was completely closed.

Now when I reopen it, it just had this thing that kept spinning and not moving to anything else. I tried to go to Actions and reset Windows and now it just says Deleting Snaptshot, except it doesn't look like it is deleting anything.

Is there anyway to restart Windows again? Or am I essentially stuffed?

Hi @DennisT4 , please try Actions > Stop and then start the Windows virtual machine and check if that works.

    Hi Arun,

Thank you for your answer. No, that didn't work, because it wouldn't allow me to get to that point where I can use Actions.

I had to pull a file backup from Time Machine. I managed to get the system working on that basis. Unfortunately it also meant that the system and some of the files stored also back dated to that time, but that was the best solution.

Hi @DennisT4 , you can try stopping the virtual machine from the Activity monitor on your Mac.

Yes Arun, that's what I did do to interrupt the eternal spinning.

It doesn't solve the problem that it would not have booted up again without me dragging a file from Time Machine.

Luckily I had that, otherwise everything would have been lost.
