    Hello everybody,

I hope this thread is not a duplicate, if so, i'm really sorry. I must have searched for the wrong keywords then.

I often use the CMD+Spacebar search function of OS X. Unfortunately OS X suggests me the results from the VMs at the top. So if i search for "Term" for the terminal in OS X, OS X shows me for under 1 second my OS X terminal and after that the terminal from Ubuntu and starts this because i already hit enter...
Can I somehow make the search stop looking in the VMs, or at least stop that pushing these absolutely not as often used programs like in OS X to the top?

    Thanks for answering!

Hello Dominick1, click System Shortcuts in the sidebar > Select one of the following from the Send system shortcuts menu and choose "Auto" if still the issue persists then choose "Never" and see if that helps.

On Condition or Auto: If you're working with Windows, system shortcuts that don't function in Windows (for example, Control-Up Arrow button to display Mission Control) trigger functions in OS X. If you're using OS X as a guest OS and a guest OS or its application is active, system shortcuts that are typical only to OS X trigger functions in the guest version of OS X.

Never: Function keys and other system shortcuts always trigger functions in OS X. Thanks!

Thank you very much for answering!
it looks like i wasn't clear enough. So i want to give you a situation:
I'm using OS X, Parallels is not running at all. Now i need my terminal, so i hit cmd+spacebar, enter "term" and the search shows me results. for 1s on the Top there is the OS X Terminal. But for some reason after that second the ubuntu terminal is moved to the top. If i already hit Enter, because the OS X Terminal was selected, now the ubuntu terminal is selected and is being started.
I'd like to remove all VMs from that search.

Hi @Dominick1, when the Ubuntu virtual machine is isolated from Mac OS, folders, profiles, applications and external drives are not shared between two operating systems. You may shut down the virtual machine, go to the virtual machine Configuration -> Security -> Integration -> check "Isolate from Mac"
