Unable to download build 5160

I have build 4128 in the UK and the update utility advises that I can download the later version which is 5160. When I select the download I get another screen which should indicate the progress of the download but nothing .............. and in addition my XP environment is frozen until I respond Cancel to the Download screen outstanding from the update....

Try downloading the update from here. You can always easily get to that download page by selecting "Parallels Desktop for Mac" from the Download menu at the top of any page on the Parallels website (including this one).

 

Thanks for your response, but the last time i tried that method I got totally screwed up as the download was not applicable to the UK version. I have been advised by the local UK support representative to only update the software via the official update link on the desktop menu.

If this is no longer the case then I will be happy to try your suggestion.

 

Parallels combined the US/UK versions of Parallels Desktop (as of build 4128, I think). I saw a post from Parallels about this somewhere a few months ago, but I've been unable to dig it up. This KB article confirms that the US/UK versions are the same though.
