    Hi forum,
I have Parallels 11 over OS EL Capitan in a MacAir from 2011. It does not go smooth anymore (probably because of just 4GB RAM). Actually I have not used lately since opening Parallels was taking for ever.
So I just bought a brand new MacBook Pro with Sierra OS.
Now, there are MS SLQ libraries and files I would not like to loose
    Question are:
How can transfer my Parallel virtual machine to my new computer?
Would it work if I back it up in EL Capitan (Parallel 11) and restore it in Sierra? Or should I install latest Parallel version in Sierra first and then restored the 11 version on top?
    Please help.
    Thanks a lot in advance!!

Hello JuanC14, to backup the virtual machine, please follow Manual backup instructions on Mac OS X EL Capitan as suggested in this article and please use this link http://www.parallels.com/directdownload/pd11 to download and install Parallels Desktop 11 on Mac OS X Sierra. Then try to restore the virtual machine to Sierra and double-click the .pvm to open your virtual machine and see if this helps. Thanks!
