Hello, I had parallels desktop 12 installed on 3 Macs with the same license (I work alone): with version 13 it refuses this option and wants to uninstall a Mac to install on another: is it normal and what is the best solution for me? Is it possible to go back to version 12? Thanks Marc
Hello mc_, 25 , Parallels Desktop for Mac retail license can only be used for activation of Parallels Desktop for Mac on a single Mac machine at a time, it is a normal behavior. In order to use Parallels Desktop for Mac on several Mac machines, you need to purchase the corresponding number of licenses. If you would like to move Parallels Desktop from one computer to another, you do not need to buy a new key, simply uninstall the software from the Mac it is currently installed on before installing on a new one, You can refer this article to switch license between Mac's. Thanks!
I have a question about this question. I have an old laptop and I have installed windows 10 with its password, I wanted to know if it is possible to use the key of my laptop to validate the license in parallels?
Hi @Alejandro4, please check out this article to activate your Windows through Phone activation method.
Actually, it's not normal at all. Even Adobe which is notoriously quite strict with licenses, allows to use the same license on two PC at the same time, and with it thousands of other developers. We all changed the way we use technology, and we all have a desktop pc and a laptop. Maybe it's just a matter of evolving, maybe other competitors of yours are already on the right track. Best regards
