Dear all, I use Parallels Desktop 13 I virtualized Windows 7 64Bits on Mac OS X, but when i launch one specific application running on Windows that use Dongle it is not recognized and i obtain message from application that the Dongle is not inserted. I have to unplug the Dongle and then it launch the application. It is very frustrated, do you have any idea? Thanks in advance Daniel
Hi @DanielF1, please try reconnecting the device to the virtual machine: 1. Unplug the device from the USB port of your Mac and plug it in again. 2. If the instructions above don't help, please do the troubleshooting steps mentioned in this article. 3. Forward required USB device to the virtual machine manually. To do so, go to Devices > External Devices > choose the USB device in the list
Hi Paul, This is not the device but the HASP Dongle whiches is not recognoized on the Windows 7 Pro Virtual Machine, i have to unplug it and then it works. For e.g if i don't stop the Windows 7 Pro Virtual Machine th Dongle still recognized, if i restart the Virtual Machine it works fine but if i stop the Virtual Machine the Dongle is not recognized. Hi @DanielF1, sorry for the delayed in response. We have released a new update Parallels Desktop 13 for Mac Update 2 Hotfix 1(13.2.0-43213) and this update addresses this issue. To check for updates, click on the Parallels Desktop menu on Mac menu bar and select Check for Updates: http://kb.parallels.com/124262
