I will be buying a new Mac in the next couple months. I am wondering if I would be able to create a Parallels VM which has OSX 10.8.5? In other words, on my new Mac I would have the new OS and all that jazz, but could switch to a copy of my current environment - I have a number of programs and apps that I don't want to upgrade yet, it would cost thousands for me to do so. Thanks in advance!
Hi @JustinH5 , using Parallels Desktop 12 for Mac you can install Mac Os X 10.8.5 . However reproducing the current environment of your Mac as a Virtual machine is not possible. You can create a Mac OS X 10.8.5 virtual machine and try installing the required applications inside the virtual machine.
